| Friday, March 24, 2006 From First to Last, Hawthorne Heights, The Hush, All American Rejects, and Falloutboy @ Nokia in Grand Prairie with Chrisitine Tang (concert virgin) , Jenna Fu, and April Tam
I didn't plan on going to this concert. This is how it happened: This cute asian girl walks up to Dan and asks, "hey, dan, wassup, you wanna go to a concert tonight, i have an extra ticket." and dan said, "no, sorry, i'm busy tonight." overhearing this i interupt and say, "hey! whoa, what bands?" the girl lists them. and i say, "hey! i'm down!" and she says, "sweet, let's ride. " so i leave and meet the other girls going to the concert. and WHOA, it's april tam. hey, whatup, april!?! and i met christine tang who is no longer a concert virgin. and jenna fu is the girl that had an extra ticket.
From First to Last, Hawthorne Heights, The Hush We missed the first three bands. hahaha. good times. but it's ok, i've already seen 2/3 of them.
All American Rejects not as good as warped tour. probably because we were in reserved. but, i mean, they were ok. as good as you'd expect from such a pretty face.
Fall Out Boy patrick has such a different voice. it was the only highlight of the show. the the dark haired fellow aka the sexappeal kept spitting comments to win over the crowd (which looking at the tweens and drunks he probably did) one thing: "there are so many musicians out there making music for the wrong reason." like he's the one to judge. music is art. it's also entertainment and an occupation. but i'm sure the dark haired deity's intentions were pure and like he, i misjudged. it was a hastey comment to make. stupid stupid.
the ride back was WILD. hahaha, oh girls, i will never forget it. i have never been that scared in my life.
yay for new friends -diana.

| March 14, 2006 Les Aus, Aloha!, The Duke Spirit, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists @ Gypsy the Tea Room (my first time not in the ballroom) with nicole (her second concert in less than a week) and sarah (her first concert)
prettysurethatthiswasthe mostamazingmusicexperience sincemyfirstconcert (and maybe travis barker)
les aus rock plus barcelonian riffs, good different, courteous boys
aloha! drumming in between sets these guys would switch roles the drummer could jam just as well on the guitar the bassist hammered the keyboard and aloha! used wood blocks wood blocks.
the duke spirit fronted by the beautiful Leila Moss (who also played the fucking harmonica) like rilo kiley, but fuller ted leo got up on stage with leila just up there jamming making music never seen anything like it and that's when i realized, when i saw that these bands are the real musicians, the true aritsts
that motion city is trash.
ted fucking leo and the fucking pharmacists so good. when we left, that's all i could say. so good. holy shit, it was good. most bands piss out a copy of their tracks but ted leo, ted fucking leo made music. it was so good. every song sounded different from the record the crowd moved. some danced. i was comfortable. moshing and crowd surfing is fun, but this is where i belong. so good. so fucking good.

| Thursday, March 9, 2006 Spill Canvas, White T's, OKGO, Motion City @ Meridian in Houston spring break road trip 06 with james weng aka papa bear, michelle, andrew aka mamabear, lydia aka navigator, and lazaro
don't know why i saw them twice. they aren't very good at all.
missed canvas. pretty bored throughout white ts. motion city was out of tune . no surprise. but a relief, nonetheless, to know they didn't use vocal suport. the crowd was pretty awful. like a bunch of 12 year old concert virgins.
OKGO: i got dropped. went up to crowd surf, sssooo excitied. got my arms up. completely trusting that people were going to catch me. yeah. half a second later, my back slams into cement. pain. it was like, the sequin-top 12 year olds parted. like the red fucking sea. i landed on the floor, utterly shocked. (and yeah, way embarassed) my first time to be dropped so carelessly. no one offered to help me up. the 12 year olds just stood there and watched. like the crazy asian girl was going to perform some magic. lydia pushes through the crowd yelling, "DDDIIIIAAANNNNAAA!!!!" hahahaha. i finally get helped up. and we all laughed so hard.
i surfed again. and again. untili i got it right. and made it up to the guards. lydia and i met two gentlemen. lydia crowd surfed for the first time. so if you see her, tell her she rocks. not only did she crowd surf, she humped me for a good 10 minutes through the concert. because that's what real rockers do. we hump to get closer to the band. to grab the thigh of the lead singer of okgo. (yes, yes, i did.)
houston. houston sucks. but the navigator fucking rocks. -diana

| Wednesday, March 8, 2006 Spill Canvas, Plain White T's, OKgo, Motion City Soundtrack @ Gypsy Tea Room adventure! to Dallas with jenjen, the rob, dkao, nicole, dana, and kylen.
spill canvas was ok. no one was really moved to do anything. except for the heckler
white t's. skinny. sex moves. there were these 3 annoying little girls. like fucking 12 years old or something. and they said to the rob "hey, do you go to west?" he's goes, "yeah" all exctied, they squeal, "yeah, we do too, we're juniors." and the rob says, "yeah, i'm a senior. i don't know you." and ignores them. when white ts played 'last call' dkao pushed them. hard. they deserved it. dkao is my favorite mosher.
okgo. waaaaaayyyyyyy cute. did the dance. sssoooo good.
motion city. was ok. way fun, but only because dkao is fucking crazy. dana, nicole, dkao, and i moshed so hard. so fucking exhausted. and happy. sooooo happy. our mosh pit raped all other mosh pits.
nicole and kylen's first concert. nicole crowd surfed. danced. moshed. hard. nicole is so good.
finally got my fix. -diana
